What is Lula’s Library?

Lula’s Library is a book donation charity set up in the name of Tallulah Larson, a brave girl who passed away way too soon. Lula’s library is a way for her parents to honor her life and memory. Each book donated will have a bookplate that details Lula’s life and the purpose of Lula’s Library.

Who was Lula?

Tallulah Marie Helen Larson was born November 14th, 2017, and passed on January 10, 2018.  Born at the gestational age of 26 weeks and 5 days, and at just 1lb., 4oz., Lula had a full head of wavy blonde hair, just like her Papa, though her Mama is convinced that eventually she would have shared her hazel eyes.  Lula was an entire world of possibilities, and the whole universe to her Mama and Papa.  And she was 8 weeks and 2 days when she passed away, weighing 2 lbs. 13 oz., having doubled in size like the superhero she was.  Lula fought all the way to the end to stay but was unable to find a way through her lung sickness.  She was the sweetest bravest little girl in the world, and her exit has left, forever, a hole in our hearts the size of the solar system.

Convinced she would have been as big a book worm as they are, her parents loved reading to Lula and bonding with her through stories.  We hope these books brings parents and their babies the same warmth and light as they wait to bring their own little superhero home.
