Grendel

I directed the Spring 2023 production of Grendel at Washington College. This was a Senior Capstone Project by undergraduate Sophia Rooks (‘23), who adapted John Gardner’s novel, Grendel, into a full-length play. The novel is itself inspired by the epic poem Beowulf, shifting the focus from the story’s so-called hero to it’s (misunderstood?) villain.
